There are relatively few payphones in the metropolitan areas of Finland.  No additional payphones are being installed and, because of the pervasiveness of mobile telephones in Finland, some payphones are being decommissioned.

Global269 service is available through all Elisa payphones including coin, card and combination phones.  All calls on Elisa payphones will be charged at the local call rate, the minimum charge is 0.50.
